Saturday School will be held tomorrow from 8:00-12:00 in Mr. Dolan’s room 300.

CSF members, new and old!  Our first meeting of the year will be Monday at lunch in the Media Center.  Come get all the info and applications for the year!  You must be present to win…

Attention new and returning National Honor Society (NHS) members:  Mark you calendars!  Our first meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 14^th.  Your officers are super excited to kick off the year with some great service opportunities, so don’t miss out!  Refreshments will be provided.

Jaguars are you on the list?  If you are on the non-privilege list you will not be able to attend the Homecoming Dance on October 16^th.  Detentions may be served daily during lunch in room 300.

Want to go to college?  Want to make new friends?  Want to feel good about helping others?  Become an ASE tutor for math and/or English.  Start accumulating those very important community service hours!  Just show up to the tutorial and sign up! 

Attention Juniors and Seniors; It’s class ring time again!  Jostens will be on campus Tuesday, September 14^th during lunch, located outside the library for a class ring fair.  Stop by to pick up a packet, get your finger sized, and check out the new and classic styles of class ring available for the classes of 2011 and 2012.

Attention students interested in a career in either firefighting or law enforcement.  See your counselor this week about the Explorer programs.  The first meeting for the Fire Department Explorer program is October 13^th. 

All student store orders placed at registration are now in; please come to the cashier window to pick up your items during designated window times.

Joining a club is a great way to be involved with your school.  Club Rush is your chance to make your mark.  Club Rush will be help of Thursday, September 16^th.  

The PSAT also known as the preliminary SAT is on sale now!  This practice test can help you score better on the SAT.  The test is only $15 and the last day to buy one is Friday, September 17^th.  The test will be given on October 13^th.   See the cashier and don’t miss out!

Hey Students-How would you like to learn how to avoid a collision when driving and clear a Saturday school at the same time?  Mr. Schwarz, along with the CHP, will be coordinating a workshop on “Teen Driving and Safety”.  Any student can sign up.  The course will be held on Saturday, October 9^th, the weekend before Homecoming!  The deadline to sign up is October 4^th.  Please sign up in the Counseling Department at Mrs. Ruiz’s desk. 

If you are interested in participating in our new ASE disc (Frisbee) golf class see Mr. Vivona to sign up ASAP.  We will meet on Monday and Thursday after school and some Saturday mornings.

Are you still trying to figure out what you want to be when you grow up?  Let the free ASVAB test help you assess your skills.  Knowing where you exceed or need some polish can help you decide what to take in college towards your career!  Take the test, like I said, it’s free!  The test will be given on October 26^th; the sign up sheet is on Mrs. Rumble’s desk in Counseling.
