Just a reminder that tomorrow is the big day Mr. Adams is shaving his beard so don’t forget the camera.

TARS is meeting Wednesday at lunch in room 606.  Bring your fundraising pledges for our leadership conference in Washington DC this summer.

Writer’s Circle meets February 10^th, Wednesday at lunch.  We will be discussing the Writer’s Circle Short Story Contest and scholarship, so make sure you attend this important meeting.  The short story contest is open to everyone at VCHS so pick up an entry form in room 506 today!  The grand prize is $50.

Attention all boys who wish to try out for the VCHS Golf Team.  There will be a meeting Wednesday, February 10^th in room 802 at lunch to discuss important information regarding the upcoming Spring Tryouts.

Attention all 9-Time Fiesta winners!  Your Mexican food fiesta party is this Wednesday, February 10^th.  Incase of inclimate weather conditions, we’ll postpone the fiesta party to Thursday during lunch.  Listen for an announcement on Wednesday morning for further information.  Congratulations on keeping those grades up!!!

To all of you in Musical Theater’s production of “GREASE”, the recognition night is Wednesday in the Media Center at 6:30pm.  Your parents are welcome!

Interested in learning how to create computer graphics?  Join Mr. McMurdo in room 205 on Wednesday and Thursday.  This is a new ASE afterschool activity starting this week!

Valentine’s Day is almost here.  Candy grams will be sold today thru Thursday in the quad at lunch.

Attention all Latin American Club members signed up for community service next week:  There is a brief meeting to talk about the service project on Thursday, February 11^th at lunch in Mr. Chew’s room.

AP Exams are coming up in May.  They are on sale now for $86.00 at the cashier’s window.  Reduced fees are available for those who qualify.  See your counselor with any questions.

Do you want to be in Jag Idol, Air bands, or Valley Center’s Best Dance Crew?  This year the three of them will be on March 25^th.  But the week before, students will get a sneak peek at the “pre-auditions” during lunch.  Sign up at the music stand or find Katey Sullivan.

Attention all athletes:  Spring sports tryouts begin on Saturday, February 20^th or Monday, February 22^nd.  All athletes must have a clearance packet on file in the athletic director’s office.  If you have already played a sport this year, you don’t need to fill out another clearance.  For those of you who need to fill out a clearance packet-packets are available in the front office.
